I had booked a tour through #VEENAWORLD with my friends and their husbands; for China, Hong Kong and Macau ... The Veena World employee who filled out the online pre-arrival permit for Hong Kong for me, put 3 key inputs wrong!!! Result: My permit request got rejected! Purely carelessness, or untrained employees? What do you think?
I only came to know why it got rejected because after she told me that it is rejected, I made her tell me what to fill in while I tried to fill it in myself, and realised that she had selected 'NO' for the question 'Were you ever known by any other name' ; had put in my current address instead of the one on my passport ; and put my travel details for 2016 wrong!! What impression does that give of me to immigration? Tell me? Obviously the data crawler found 3 crucial mismatches and rejected the online application!
And on top of it when I asked Veena World management to write a mail to the Hong Kong immigration, their customer relations person tells me that "We have returned the money therefore we have resolved the issue"!!! Can you believe this? Would you ever trust a company with this kind of attitude?
