I'm not sure that they even know that this false information exists on their website. There is an article claiming that the Continuous Glucose Monitor is covered and aprroved by Medicare. This is a cruel hoax on type-one insulin dependent diabetics. My husband spent several days between elation and deflation, arguing with medical authorities. The article is only accessible after reaching the website, www.webmd.com, then retyping www.diabetes.webmd.com/continuous-glucose-monitoring. He found it from some link on the internet. Since Medicare is clear about not covering the CGM, the article should be altered to the truth or taken off of the internet altogether. I do believe that the website is an unreliable source of information.
