I placed an order on July 22 - with express shipping, my order was supposed to arrive in 3 to 5 days. They contacted me on July 27 (yes, five days later - the date the shipment should have ARRIVED) to tell me the item was out of stock!
They wanted me to exchange it for a different item, but I asked for a refund. Apparently it will take 5 to 7 business days to process the refund - now it's August 3rd and I'm still waiting!
First of all, why is an "out-of-stock" item available for purchase on the website? Secondly, it took them an unreasonably long time to inform me that they didn't have the item in stock. Finally, since I paid with Paypal, a refund is as simple as a click of a button - probably takes less time than it did for them to send me an email, and definitely shouldn't take 7 business days to process.
Seriously? Very very shoddy customer service. I'll never use their website again. Thank goodness Paypal has my back covered - if I don't have that money by the end of the week I'm definitely going to open a dispute.
