On July 29,2020 Reddit changed the wording of its rules https://www.reddit.com/r/announcements/comments/hi3oht/update_to_our_content_policy/ and banned many subreddits that had no prior warning of the rule changes and were not allowed to update their internal rules. Central among those banned were female and lesbian-centered subreddits.
What kind of message does Reddit send when female-centered subs are removed from Reddit's platform without any warning while subs like r/struggle$#*!ing (a rape fetish subreddit formerly known as r/rapingwomen) r/abuseher, r/breedingmaterial, r/blackchickswhite$#*!s, r/rapekink, r/iWantTo$#*!Her, r/painal, r/LoveToWatchYouLeave, r/SheLikesItRough, r/collegesluts, r/$#*!yeahdrunksluts, r/DarkAngels, r/HENTAI_GIF, r/DrunkGirls, r/PearlGirls, r/palegirls, r/braceface, r/LegalTeens, r/Just18, r/barelylegalteens, r/Barelylegal, r/rule34, r/rule34gifs, r/WhyWouldYou$#*!That, r/bizarresex all exist as they were prior to Reddit's new rules?
As of 1:00 PM on Wednesday July 1,2020 all of the above subs are still public, not quarantined and not banned.
