TERRIBLE COMPANY Don't book if you don't have a credit card. Very old fashioned system to get you to book and take a booking fee when you cancel. I cancelled within an hour of booking and they still charged me. The only time it was made clear I needed to pay by credit card was after I had paid.

Dear Paul, Rental companies do not accept debit cards. It is clearly mentioned everywhere on our website, in the terms and conditions and on the checkout page where you put your credit card information for payment. You could not have honestly missed it. Feel free to email out customer service team at support@gotrentalcars.com and we will check your case in more details and may be able to give you a credit for a future rental.
