What you need to Know about Knowband.

First of all, if you pay Knowband, never use your credit card. As Kenji Law and Wong Keith said in the reviews, Knowband can save your mastercard/visa information in order to process unauthorized transaction. By illegal way, they use the saved data in order to charge you for "custom support" you didn't ask.

I try to spread the truth everywhere about Knowband, but it is very hard because they delete messages, and Prestashop supports them (financial interest).

You should know that Knowband is an Indian company. Therefore, it will be very hard to go to court if you have any problem with them. They are aware of this.

As far as we are concerned, Knowband broke our e-shop with many bugs. We had to start it from scratch. We lost about *******€ because of Knowband developers. We asked refund only for 1078€: this was for the missing job they didn't do yet. Even this small refund was refused.

We bought 5 plugins from them: preferred delivery time, loyalty points, store locator and pickup, shipping cost by zipcode, product availability check by zipcode, and infinite scroll. The plugins didn't work at the beginning (except for "infinite scroll"), so we had have to ask Knowband for developments (it is often like this with their plugins: you buy it and it doesn't work). You have to write many tickets in support, in order to resolve the problems. Unfortunately the work is so slow, and they add SO MANY BUGS in your website, this is amazing (cart not working, prices change by itself, payment method not working because of bugs, or because they forget to delete "Test mode", so customers call you because they can't pay). I talked to many Knowband's customers, and we never saw as many BUGS from developers.

Bugs appear almost every time they work on your website (MANY BUGS), and they ask you to pay for "custom support"! They ask money in order to resolve the bugs they put THEMSELVES in your website. When you ask them to do a job, the work is often slow, and if they don't finish, they ask you to pay again the "custom support". One day, they asked me to pay "custom support" because a developer left and they had to give this job to other developer, which would represent "extra cost" for them (!) (why should I pay for this?) Even if your website isn't working (for instance, customers can't pass their orders), they can wait up to 7 days in order to solve the problem!

When you ask them to do a work, I often had the case when they did only half of the work and kindly tell you that the job is done, and to kindly check that everything is alright. Then, you kindly ask them to read again the message where you explain the job, and they tell you to SHOW you what is wrong, with making a short video or screenshot, even if it is OBVIOUS that they didn't do the job you paid for! Only Knowband customers know what I am talking about.

We had to pay other Prestashop developer in MALT platform, and he told me that the bugs were coming from Knowband's work (Knowband often say that the bugs is NOT from them, so that you pay them in order to resolve the bugs! Amazing).

Prestashop developer from MALT platform told me that developers from Knowband who worked on my e-shop did very bad job, he said the quality of their code is very bad. According to him, it is not surprising from this company. As far as we are concerned, they entirely broke our website. We had to desactivate all their modules (which were full of bugs). They broke our "cart" page (page reloading by itself when you click on "continue" button, developer in MALT platform told us this came from 2 Knowband modules which interact badly with each others). Every time they resolve 1 bug, 2 more bugs will appear in your website. I can't believe we lost *******€ because of Knowband. Furthermore, they even don't want to refund us the 1078€ for the work they didn't do on the plugins! (we told them we wouldn't work with them anymore, because all of the bugs not resolved for months).

Customers were calling us EVERY DAY for MONTHS because of the bugs. Please don't purchase any module from this company, or you will regret it. Don't give them access to your website. If you do so, I may find you here in the comments.

Tip for consumers:
See the reviews for this company. They are very bad developers, many customers loose a lot of money because of them. Furthermore, they don't refund.
