Been a Care2 signer for 2 years I think, and one who tries to verify validity of petitions before signing. I usually trust humans to lie off the bat, so I do whatever research I can 1st.
Never had Care2 asking me for personal info beyond email, so not sure about that issue. Then again, I won't donate money this way to ensure not being scammed
They do have a plethora of valid, solid petitions... however, as a number of reviews state, there's a sizable number that should never been approved and proven scam petitions.
And given the change of subject of petitions during the US elections on top of the proven scam petitions... their heads staff should be canned and charged accordingly.
The site is solid. I'm sure most who work there are solid, for these reasons they should continue. But not all are solid, and it's them destroying the site
