My friend referred me to this site so we could find eachother and video chat. The site is set up where you connect your webcam and shuffle through people on webcams until you find your friend, find someone interesting. Etc.
While shuffling through, I saw a lot of naked people and a lot of guys masterbating on camera, a lot of old guys in their underwear, and a lot of slutty looking women. Now, these types of things are common and legal on porn sites and usually have a warning or something stating it's content. But chatroulette.com has nothing saying "X-rated material" or "discretion advised." No. This site probably started out innocent and became very abberated.
Now, my issue with this scenario is that while seeing naked people and masterbation and everything else, I noticed kids. Kids probably as young as 5 or 6. I even saw a young child around 2 or 3 with their older sister. This is where things become quite serious. We wonder why our generations are becoming more and more degraded and uneducated.
Online crimes and are rising more and more. There is no police for the internet. I'm aware that the FBI is involved with fraud cases but these such things are overlooked. I think everyone with a rational state of mind can agree that 5 and 6 year olds shouldn't be watching a woman strip on a webcam.
Chatroulette.com either needs to be shut down, or have a more secure entry so children can't easily get on. Or atleast some kind of sign that states what goes on! Jeezus!
