My husband and I got this water rower 6 months ago. We loved the size of the machine for our one-bedroom apartment and its performance. The honeymoon period came to end a month ago while my husband was rowing and the strap wouldn't retract all the way to its original position. I contacted Stamina right away using their online message board. I got a reply from the company - no name from the representative - asking for the serial number. After about 5 emails back and forth and no solution in sight, I gave them a call a spoke to Trish. She told me the engineers needed to take a look into this and that she would call me back. Of course, I never received a call-back. I emailed Stamina again, and this time they asked me to make a video of the machine, whether it was used for personal or commercial use, where it was stored, etc... After once again providing all the necessary information, along with this video - https://youtu.be/9JqaT-BIA0s - I got a reply telling me to put on some 3 in 1 oil. I have done this, but it has not worked.
We are extremely disappointed in the customer service being provided by Stamina. We truly liked the water rower, but Stamina does not really stand behind their "Our #1 goal is Customer Satisfaction! " motto.
