We ordered in November and money was taken from our account. We were informed that it would arrive by December 15th. We received two emails to tell us that it was arriving earlier in December, but on neither date did it turn up. Neither did it turn up on December 15th as originally scheduled.
I contacted Customer Services to be told it would arrive some date in January but it didn't. I contacted Customer Services again, and after a delay I was given another date in January. Again nothing turned up.
I was starting to think that we ha been conned and that the article we ordered didn't exist. After another contact I was given a new date but this time was given a FedEx tracking number which showed me that it had been delivered to a FedEx centre in India.
It eventually arrived at the start of February via a lovely FedEx delivery man. Shame as it was something I ideally wanted for Christmas Day.
Update I have now checked the goods and they are exactly what we wanted and appear to be of excellent quality., so I have upgraded our review.
Hello Mike. Please accept our sincere apologies for the delays on your order. We certainly understand the frustration this must have caused.
From our internal notes we see that our support team did put in an expedite request each time you contacted us. All our products are handmade; regrettably, due to inconstant circumstances we ended up with unanticipated backlog in production and missed the promised dates. We are working hard to scale up our production capabilities and improve our turnaround time. While these efforts (which include building a new, much larger production unit) are ongoing, we have also applied some solutions in the interim that have resulted in significant improvement over the last few weeks.
