I purchased Apple Watch from JB. Ceased working within both Apple and JB warranty. Refused refund at Hobart store. This is contrary to Australian Consumer Law. Staff in Hobart store were rude and dismissive. Lo and behold, this article today -

UPDATE 2/12/22 - AFTER OVER 10 DAYS, I HAVE RECEIVED A REPLY FROM JB HIFI COMPLAINTS STATING THAT THEY WILL NOT DEAL WITH AN INSTORE PURCHASE. MY PURCHASE WAS MADE ONLINE, AND I HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED A COPY OF THE ONLINE RECEIPT.
FOR INFORMATION - I ATTENDED THE HOBART STORE. I SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE STORE MANAGER ON 24/11. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD FORWARD IT TO THE AREA MANAGER. AS OF 3/12 I HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER. DO NOT EXPECT POLITE OR USEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE HOBART STORE. DO NOT EXPECT MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTABILITY IN TASMANIA.
