Between COVID and the holiday rush, delays were to be expected. The company emailed several times to update that their may be a delay and followed up through the process without me contacting them once. They had also ran out of the stollen that we ordered, but sent a replacement along with a note that they wanted to be sure we had one for Christmas. Despite concerns, the order still arrived in a timely matter and the unprompted communication was appreciated, especially since I should have ordered sooner anyway.
