Anxious to see, once items arrive, if the quality is worth the money I'm paying.
I've used Roommates.com 3-5 times in past years and up until now (2019) it was fine. But they've changed it and severely watered down the search criteria. Aside from what I say in my profile, if I simply want to conduct a search on my own, I cannot narrow it down to "female" for example nor can I narrow it down to a particular dollar amount for the rent or a particular age range. If I'd known about these changes, I never would have spent the $20 this time. Also, when I play the role of someone looking for a room (I am offering a room) and do a search that SHOULD turn up my posting, it does not show up!

It's unfortunate the site hasn't worked out for you this time. We do appreciate your comments and they will be taken into consideration for future site improvements. As with all new updates there are some bugs to work out. People come and go on a daily basis so hopefully you will get some matches soon that will work out for a roommate.
