I applied for a loan on line, credit Chum Manchester asked for 9p to confirm I have a bank account, I stupidly agreed they took the 9p then came back & took everything out of my account. I asked them for a refund and they say No, I am a vulnerable adult and I'm worried this will happen to more Vunerable people
This company will not refund me, I have asked them time and time again still waiting, they take your money even though they don't have product in stock. My advice avoid like the plague

Credit Chum is a subscription-based service that provides many benefits including access to various offers, an opportunity to access your credit report, Credit Chum Protect and additional insights via your social report.
We are transparent throughout our sign-up process that this is a £19.99 per month subscription-based service, and it is the choice of the user on whether they wish to sign-up to the service. To become a member of Credit Chum and for the payment to be taken you must agree to the terms and conditions of the service and complete the sign-up process.
We would like to make it clear that Credit Chum does not charge users for applying for a loan (nor is it stated that you are approved for a loan), the monthly payment that we charge is to enable us to provide the services outlined above. Some of these, for example giving our customers access to their full Credit Report and Score, we have to pay for. Alongside this, like all businesses, we have operating costs, such as our team who are working hard to help with customer queries, sourcing great deals, putting together informative guides and ensuring that the website is maintained and kept up to date. All of this is done with our customers in mind as our goal is to provide a service which offers value and is useful.
Of course, we understand that this service may not be the right solution for everyone, so should you feel the service is not right for you then there is no obligation for you to sign-up. If you choose not to sign up for the service, then you will not have access to Credit Chum and you will not be charged the £19.99 subscription fee.
