We have had 2 major issues with Just Host within the past year that resulted in our website being down for over a week, and our emails being suspending for over a week in one instance. We are a small business and this has had a damaging effect on our business.

The issue that resulted in our emails being suspended was caused because the domain server was transferred to another entity and no longer able to be read from Microsoft. On Microsoft's end, they are not able to even find Just Host as a domain hosting option to resolve the issue from their end. I called on Monday and Just Host identified the issue and told me it would take 24-48 hours to resolve. After this waiting period, I discovered they sent a verification email to an account that has not been active in 5 years - I did not realize this until the entire waiting period was up. On Wednesday I correctly verified the account and was told it would be another 24-48 hours until the domain was propogated with the correct information fixing the domain server issue. On Friday, 48 hours later, I was told this propogation process was never started and there was no note of any issue in our file beyond updating the out of date email address. I have now been told it will be another 24 hours until I get any update despite being "escalated" and "expedited" multiple times - and no promise that the issue will be resolved. I was also told I was not able to even receive a confirmation that the issue is being worked on and has been recieved by the escalted support time correctly this time. Very unhelpful, uncommunicative and this process has taken 3x longer than they originally told me on Monday due to issues not being properly documented and communicated on my ticket number. They also refuse to provide me any way of contacting the escalated support team and I am left to wait and pray that they might send me an email with an update. Companywide, we have had not been able to recieve any email at all in nearly 7 days.

Earlier this year, our website was suspended due to a "malware" attack. Rather than providing any help, they told me I either had to "clean" the "malware" myself (I am not an IT person and this is out of my perview as an administrator) or pay an additional $15/month for Sitelock service to clean and restore the website. Our IT department was not able to conduct the clean either. I find it inconceivable that they could not or would not clean or protect the files for our domain hosted on THEIR domain service. I think they infected our files with malware so that I would have to buy the Sitelock service!

If they weren't holding our website and email accounts hostage at the moment, I would switch domain providers.
