Beautiful dresses, but horrible, horrible, ghost customer service!
I ordered 2 dresses last July for a early August wedding and after reading the return policies thought no problem if they didn't work, I could return them for a refund within the 30 day mark.
The one dress I really wanted came damaged with a huge black spot on the largest white flower in the print. I sent it back within the time frame and requested a REFUND. I called and emailed customer service before I mailed it back at least 3 times before I sent it back to be sure I did so in the correct manner to get a credit card refund. They were impossible to get a true response, I just got an automated email.
I did get a response to an inquiry a month after I returned the dress that I would be hearing about my refund or Papell credit. I quickly emailed back NO Papell credit, I wanted a refund via my credit card. Now, today, I get an email with a Papell credit. I do not wear dresses and my special event was months ago. Do Not Buy from this website! They send damaged goods, and if you send back the damaged dress, they will not refund the purchase as they promise but take 5-6 weeks to send you back a credit to receive more damaged dresses. Dillards would of honored the return and credited back my credit card. Stay away!
