I bought a Tissot watch from Ashford as a gift. It worked for approximately 24 hours after the package was opened. I contacted customer support and they insisted it needed a new battery and instructed me to take it to a jeweler.
Jeweler attempted to replace the battery and determined that the existing battery was fully charged and something else is wrong internally. The secondhand ticks back and forth, but does not go round and round.
Contacted Ashford customer service a second time. They stated that I must contact the manufacturer to make a warranty claim. I asked them to email me the contact information on how to make a claim. I never received anything.
The packaging and the watch itself were very impressive. Too bad the watch only displays the correct time twice a year. When I saw the price online, I thought it was too good to be true. Such is life, you get what you pay for. Buyer beware, they sell defective watches and don't stand behind what they sell.
