Received my dream wedding purse as a gift for Christmas. I was so beyond excited to open it, but when I did the magnet ripped out from the leather… I called Kate Spade who informed me because I received this as a gift from my Family in the USA (I live in Canada) they cannot accept my return for the defective purse or replace it due to me living in Canada. Despite having all the receipts and proof of purchase and tags still on the purse.
Heartbroken they told me to ask a Kate Spade location here in Canada… they also refused to help and said the can't help me because the purse was shipped to a USA address not a Canada one… now here I am, sitting with a $300 purse, brand-new, in the box and with tags, yet it's defective, unusable, in tears, heartbroken and devastated. No one from Kate Spade would help, all I wanted was to get it repaired or replaced, I didn't even need a refund.
