We purchased the black ice+ guard and the insurance x 2 phones just over a year ago. Cost was well over $400. The demonstration by the representative was impressive when he struck the phone with a hammer and it didn't break the screen. My wife's screen broke last November and they reimbursed her the $250 and the cost to replace was over $300. My screen broke this week when I had my phone in my back pocket and I sat on a seat belt. Not exactly a hammer. When I went to get it covered, understanding that this was a lifetime warranty, they chose to inform me that my warranty expired in December. I believe that I was misled by the representative on many fronts. This is an expensive waste of money and I do not recommend it.
