All of my items were still stolen or thrown away in Costa Rica. I had thought this service would be able to do something with shipments but they couldn't. So be warned. There is no way to safely ship items there. They charged a lot and all my items were still abandoned (in other words stolen)... so I lost all that money I paid to My US.com too.
We are so sorry to see any of your shipments have been abandoned by the carrier, Kathy. MyUS provides consolidation services for International members by shipping them their US purchases through their chosen carrier. Our shipping fees at this time do not include any customs fees and therefore would need to be arranged for clearance with the carrier once your parcel is at your local customs office. Your shipments required documentation that MyUS is not able to provide and therefore customs chose to abandon the shipments. We will always provide you with as much information that we are able to obtain from the carriers, but unfortunately can not help clear shipments through customs.
