I bought my dog, Ringo, from Cherie 4 1/2 years ago, and love him like no other dog I have had before. I was not going to add to these reviews, because when people misrepresent themselves, karma will usually catch up to them eventually. What pushed me to do it is that today Ringo just had surgery on his cervical spine due to herniated disc at C3-4. I know that this breed is susceptible to IVDD, however, wish I had done my research better prior to purchase to look for high quality breeders with dogs that have had healthy spines. Cherie now has placed a disclaimer on her website warning people about scams on the internet in which reviewers will write a negative review and then contact the business and ask for money to remove the review. I live in FL and never went to visit her puppies or see the conditions. She was a little bit cheaper than most (at the time $1800. 00 for most puppies). When I asked to get more pictures of the puppy, it took about 2 weeks because she had to wait for the photographer? These were not professional pictures by any means, and a cell phone shot would have sufficed. I guess it is hard to get a picture of the puppy if they are not there yet! Ringo had one blue and one brown eye and when she flew him into St. Augustine airport she commented that she never saw that before in a Frenchie. Really, you're a breeder? I am pretty sure she is probably just a broker for puppy mills. The only scam that is going on is the one she is pulling... but having said that, I will remove my negative review if she wants to send me $5500. 00 to cover the cost of surgery... I would then donate it to other Frenchie owners that need help with surgical costs. FYI, regardless of the breeder, it is wise to get vet insurance for a Frenchie. Hoping Ringo has a great recovery, and that anyone who reads this has healthy, happy dogs.
