“Great Experience and We received a Great Dog that has had no problems”

My wife purchased Pepper from Cherie 1.5 years ago. We already had a Frenchie (Scarlet), Cherie was nice enough to let us bring Scarlet, she and Pepper hit it off right away And we could not believe how well. She has been perfect and NO Problems where Scarlet Who is the pup from a breeding where my daughter's Male French is the stud and the mother was owned by friends of mine. Scarlet has spinal problems and is only 8 months older. Cherie's Bulldogs was great to work with and she went into great detail over the phone, also in person over her contract which others we spoke with did not have.

“Do not buy from her”

We got 2 puppies from her. One passed away a day after getting him and the other had a cancerous growth. Both were so scared of everything and everyone that we felt sick leaving her place.

Thanks Cherie for bringing such a beautiful puppy into our lives! He's happy and healthy and we really can't imagine him not being with us! You were so nice to answer all of the questions and concerns that I had! The only thing that I wish was different was that we were unable to see him before picking him up at 8 weeks, which was scary since we needed to put down a deposit. I understand that not all of your dogs are born and raised with you, but it was still concerning to put down $500 based off of one picture. Again, thanks so much for bringing this puppy into our lives!

I read these reviews and just knew that I had to write mine. I got Miss Cherie's info from three other friends who all got their babies from her. I went to her house, saw the beautiful puppies and now have my own frenchy baby. Miss Cherie answered all my questions, gave me some great advice, and I have no problem recommending people to get their puppies from her. I especially love her two new frenchys. I can't wait to see what their puppies will look like!

I bought my first Frenchie puppy from Cherie. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life! The day I brought Lily home, I knew I made a great decision. Will definitely be purchasing from Cherie in the future!

I bought my dog, Ringo, from Cherie 4 1/2 years ago, and love him like no other dog I have had before. I was not going to add to these reviews, because when people misrepresent themselves, karma will usually catch up to them eventually. What pushed me to do it is that today Ringo just had surgery on his cervical spine due to herniated disc at C3-4. I know that this breed is susceptible to IVDD, however, wish I had done my research better prior to purchase to look for high quality breeders with dogs that have had healthy spines. Cherie now has placed a disclaimer on her website warning people about scams on the internet in which reviewers will write a negative review and then contact the business and ask for money to remove the review. I live in FL and never went to visit her puppies or see the conditions. She was a little bit cheaper than most (at the time $1800. 00 for most puppies). When I asked to get more pictures of the puppy, it took about 2 weeks because she had to wait for the photographer? These were not professional pictures by any means, and a cell phone shot would have sufficed. I guess it is hard to get a picture of the puppy if they are not there yet! Ringo had one blue and one brown eye and when she flew him into St. Augustine airport she commented that she never saw that before in a Frenchie. Really, you're a breeder? I am pretty sure she is probably just a broker for puppy mills. The only scam that is going on is the one she is pulling... but having said that, I will remove my negative review if she wants to send me $5500. 00 to cover the cost of surgery... I would then donate it to other Frenchie owners that need help with surgical costs. FYI, regardless of the breeder, it is wise to get vet insurance for a Frenchie. Hoping Ringo has a great recovery, and that anyone who reads this has healthy, happy dogs.

When I was first told there were some negative reviews posted about me, my first impulse was to ignore them since all my babies always find good, loving homes. I've obviously had second thoughts. Here are my thoughts on the matter:

I have been breeding dogs for over 12 years now. In that time, I have always provided a health guarantee and a contract on every dog I have ever sold. Please feel free to do your own research - the State of Georgia does not require a breeder to offer a contract, a health guarantee, or any type of return policy. The only thing covered by Georgia law for pet purchasers is a protection from fraud on the part of the breeder. I offer all of the above because I believe it is the right thing to do, not because I am required to do it. In those 12 years, I have only had two puppies returned to me. The first one had a very rare and very minor genetic defect issue. That puppy was replaced. The second one was returned to me the day after it was purchased due to an infection. I brought the pup to the vet twice, cleared up the infection and the SAME people came back and re-bought the pup from me. Anyone who has ever sent me a deposit and then changed their mind for any reason, has ALWAYS promptly received their deposit back (minus the $100 non-refundable). I personally think this is a rather outstanding track record.

What buyers need to understand is that if there is a problem with a pup, and yes of course that is possible - if it weren't possible then there wouldn't be a need for a guarantee or contract - then the remedy under the contract is to return the pup within the first four days. It is NOT the remedy to take the pup to a vet, run up the vet bills and expect someone else to pay the bills. There is no breeder out there who pays someone else's vet bills. Under the law, dogs are considered property, and once you buy it, it and all the costs associated with it are the responsibility of the owner.

Please do your homework. Please read my website and my health guarantee. I stand behind it 100%. I always have and I always will. Not only do I have people come back for a second dog, they constantly refer their friends, my best friend has a pup from me, and even my own Vet has purchased a pup from me. Please feel free to call me. Please feel free to come to my house. And most of all please feel free to play with the pups. ~~ Cherie Morgan

That the last 4 reviews were posted on the same day? With basically the same topic? If not, you absolutely should be. My prior review is 100% acurrate and I would not hesitate to confirm that under oath.

This is not a personal vendetta, I do not know Cherie.

I am not a competitor. I do not broker dogs from puppy mills. From my experience, she is about the furthest thing from being an actual breeder. I have one neutered male frenchie at home.

My concern with Cherie is the treatment of these dogs. When I visited there were no adult French bulldogs at her home. So she must be sourcing these puppies from somewhere. And she always has a ton available. You do the math...

I won't go into all the details of our recent experience, it's very similar to the rest. I came across this well written blog about one persons experience with this "breeder" and found it to be very beneficial and informative to future buyers. Also check the comments of the post, others have experienced the same. I'm posting this only to warn others from experiencing anything like what myself and ther other people here have been through http://www.sonovelblog.com/life/2014/11/13/happy-birthday-hattie

I do not support this breeder.

I recently purchased a French Bulldog puppy from Cherie's Bulldogs. When I picked the puppy up it was outside in the back yard in poor conditions, including but not limited to a complete lack of human supervision and interaction, cramped quarters shared with two older and bigger dogs, and cold temperatures as low as 27 degrees. The puppy was filthy and covered in fleas, so I immediately took the dog to the nearest veterinary clinic where I learned that the puppy was anemic and likely infested with an intestinal parasite. I authorized a fecal exam which turned up negative for tape worms. I took the puppy to our regular veterinarian the following day who also strongly suspected an intestinal parasite. I authorized another fecal exam which turned up positive for an intestinal parasite called coccidia. The coccidia treatment was administered at my own cost. The breeder is inclined to rely, without merit, on the Health Guarantee posted on her website to avoid paying restitution.

I believe the breeder improperly induces purchases by making the following misrepresentations and omissions on her website:

She claims that she is a very small breeder in the Atlanta, GA area, implying that the puppies she sells are bred and raised in her home. However, there was no breeding activity taking place on the premises when I visited. It seemed to me that she was exclusively engaged in brokerage type activity.

She claims that her dogs are "spoiled rotten, but a reasonable person would not make the same assertion based on the living conditions I observed.

She claims that [b]ecause of the high demand for French Bulldog puppies, I network with other trusted breeders to place their wonderful puppies in good homes. So, If I don't have the dog you are looking for, I am more than happy to help you find the dog you want. This only seems to imply that brokering the sale of a puppy is the exception not the norm, and it is inadequate disclosure that, at least in my case, the puppy was sourced from a commercial puppy breeder.

The most damaging omission was that the puppy was sourced from a commercial breeder. I do not support commercial breeding activity and I would have purchased from a different breeder had this been disclosed up front.
