Every time I tried to search for a place to get my birth certificate VitalCheck popped up making it appear I had to go thru them to get it... Then after I ordered my bc, waited 6 months, I found a North Carolina phone number to the court and gee, I ordered my bc, cost me $14.50 and it is here in less than a week... So yes VitialCheck is a rip off and should be stopped.
Tip for consumers:
Go directly to a state government site to get a birth certificate. Cheaper and much much faster.

I do not understand why it takes so long to get a birth certificate. The town I grew up in a person just goes to the health department and with in 15 minutes they have a birth certificate. Unfortunately I was born in another state and had to go thru VitalCheck to get it. 125 business days from the date I ordered it... They told me I should have by Feb 13th 2023. But when I call I am told March 2nd... this is bull crap.
