On December 11th I ordered a Pulaski Curio from these ppl. On Monday the 14th I started to receive texts and emails from these ppl that my order was not complete and I needed to call them to verify my address. So on Tuesday afternoon I called them to do so, the rep on the phone told me I needed to pay an extra $199 for shipping saying my location was remote. Not true I live in a city. So I told him absolutely not... I am not paying another dime just cancel my order. Than he said I can discount extra shipping by half I said no cancel my order. He than told me he could not cancel it a manager had to do it, so I said ok go ahead and have order cancelled ASAP. Well on the 17th two days later still crickets and no change to order status. I call back again demanding my order be cancelled. So after being badgered and offered multiple discounts I got that rep to cancel order or at least what I thought was a cancellation. After 3 more days passed they email me claiming manufacturer mailed the item 24hrs after cancellation and now they want to keep $600 out if my $1000 purchase. How is this even legal? 15% restocking fee and $1.75 per pound. Refusing to cancel order and provide me with a full refund even though the cancellation was requested well before anything was shipped. What's more is I contacted the manufacturer to inquire about this and not only was nothing shipped from them this place 1stopbedrooms is not even an authorized dealer for them. Horrible company. Never in my life have I dealt with such poor customer care and a complete lack of human decency. Can not even cancel an order. Run don't walk away... never buy anything from these ppl. I am now having to explore other avenues of getting my money back from these thieves.
