So…. I bought a pair of Sketchers Slipins when I was in Boerne TX in February. I tried them on, they felt great and my daughter said they looked good. Took them to the register, the clerk looked at them. There was an issue with the price, so the manager even looked at them.
2 weeks later and 10+ hours away from Boerne, I'm sitting in the dentist's office and realize I have purchased 2 different shoes! I called the store and explained my situation and how far away I was from them. Little dude who answered the phone was very flippant and said I'd have to bring him back to the store, in Boerne, before they would take care of the problem. I tried online to get a resolution, with pictures, receipt, everything. They said they didn't have anything to do with in-store purchases. Anyway, I told them I didn't think they'd want the negative comments I would make, but they didn't seem to care.
I know they will have another unhappy customer, if they should purchase the other mismatched pair. Just buyer beware! Check your shoes. These really are close in style.
I am now wearing my mismatched shoes and plan to enjoy them. They really are comfortable. I will not hesitate to tell people where I got them. They are quite the conversation piece!
