I purchased something off the website priced at $87 USD. After the order was placed I received an email stating there will be additional fees placed on the purchase. Nowhere on the website does it state these fees exist. I inquired about the difference in price and stated I wish to cancel the order. A day later I received a notification that the package has shipped. They said it was unavoidable due to exchange rates, bank transfer fees etc. I said, if they are aware that these fees are unavoidable and would be added, why do they list the price in US dollars and never mention the additional fees until after orders are placed and the additional fees are already charged? They had no answer. They intentionally advertise prices they know will be far lower than the actual charged. They say the difference is slight, but it was over $10 on a $87 order which is huge ($97. Xx). They also ignored the cancel order email saying they never got it.

I told them I'd be talking to my bank to reverse the charge. I would return the package unopened. Lavender Rodriguez (person from Dwtechz who responded to my emails) stated to refuse the package (which I have) and I would receive a refund. It should be on its way back to Beijing which is where they ship from. I have no faith any refund will be received. My bank reversed the first charge. A day later, a second charge appeared for a little over a dollar more than the first ($98. XX). These guys make up prices to charge your card.

But here's the real kicker. As of today, two small charges were made to the account for less than a dollar. For those unaware this is common practice in fraud. Several small test charges are made on a card to see if they will go through. If they do, the large purchases are placed. Luckily my credit card company previously flagged the card when I informed them this webstore was making up fake prices to charge on the card.

So somebody has "stolen" my credit card. I say "stolen" because I strongly believe it is this unscrupulous website which sold my credit card info to someone or is using it themselves. Never having any problems for years, to getting your card info stolen a mere two weeks after shopping at dwtechz is more than a coincidence. My bank had to cancel the card and reissue a new one. Do not shop at this place. Shop elsewhere and ideally in the USA. Assuming I was one of the masses who just accepted being overcharged, the shipping took about two and a half weeks to reach me from the shipment notification date. Buying from within the USA would be less than half that.

Site has zero customer service, so if you have any issues you're pretty much screwed. It is intentionally impossible to cancel an order, even if you do it right after the order is placed They'll place blame on the fact that they get 1000 emails and can't sort through it all to find the cancel order requests quick enough.

Here's a simple solution. Make another email address just for cancel order requests. But no, they'd rather give an excuse such as the order has already shipped. In reality the status will say shipped, and 20 hours later you will receive a tracking number. However the tracking number won't actually be active on the UPS site for a few more days. This is made even worse by the fact that 1saleaday's only cancel order policy is to wait for it to come to your door and then refuse delivery. If you miss that small window then you can look forward to shipping it back on your own dime and possibly even being charged a restocking fee.

The reason refusing delivery is so difficult is that the shipping process is terrible. Often the tracking number you receive won't be active for days to months. It leads to the situation where they'll keep your money for up to months on end but you'll never receive the product. Most respectable businesses would refund you when the delays are extensive. 1saleaday will blame it on unavoidable delays in shipping, or another vendor. The best you will get is a partial refund which isn't very useful after several weeks of not receiving a product.

When you finally receive the product is the final area of concern. If you're lucky and ordering something that is sealed then you'll probably be a fine. If it's an open box item then you might be screwed. It's not too uncommon to get a used item that was described as refurbished. Or an item that was just completely used and not fully functioning.

That brings you back to the original problem of customer service. You'll have a hard time returning the item. They'll lie/cheat regarding the item description and condition. Absolutely horrible business practices.
