I've been a tutor on first tutors for several years now and prefer it to any other platform that I've worked with.
The main reason for this is that they don't charge a percentage fee of lesson payments.
On many other platforms, parents will pay £40/hr, the tutor receives £24/hr, and the platform pockets the rest. Over time, these fees really add up.
