Chat Avenue is a let down. If you're wanting to chat your best bet is finding a group chat on social media for those with your interests or hunting for small chat community's. Chat Avenue is a relic from when chat room's were king. Chat room's such as AOL and Yahoo are long gone and Chat Avenue is still standing, albieit on one weakened leg ready to break. Believe it or not, lot's of people still use chat room's. For those looking for a fun and open ended discussions Chat Avenue is not the place for you. It's filled to the brim with censorship, predators, catfish, scammers and perverts.

WARNINGS:
- Don't post pictures of yourself. There's been blackmailers who steal profile pictures and upload them to porn sites in the past.
- Don't give out personal information such as your name, county or town. Some people will save and use this information against you.
- Don't leave your DM's open. It'll fill up with perverts and bots. Set your DM's to friends only or turn them off.
- VPNs aren't allowed, most of them get blocked. If you're lucky you can find one that doesn't get you auto kicked.

Chat Avenue isn't worth the drama that comes along with it. It's possible to meet some down to earth people but wading through all the catfish, perverts and creeps isn't worth it.
If you're a minor go away. Chat Avenue is full of groomers who will take advantage of you. Teens and kids chat are full of predators posing as teens. Don't trust anyone on here. These chatters aren't your friends.
