I'm very pleased with jAlbum on my iMac. I've been using it to compile annual albums of the plants and flowers in my garden for several years, and it really makes the project simple. The service is outstanding -- questions are answered promptly and the staff has been most helpful. Now if Apple would only put its comments, captions, etc into the standard format for metadata, all would be well. As it is, I use MetaImage to edit all of that stuff before running jAlbum, and it puts everything in the right places.
We're happy to hear this. Thank you for explaining how you use jAlbum and about this metadata hint as well. Yes, wouldn't it be good if all IT companies avoided lock-in, like jAlbum, by using open formats?
