I don't recommend this forum. This is one of the worst places to seek support and advice. I was looking for a supporting community, with some outside perspectives on my situation, but I only obtained so much negativity. Most users there blame and shame you for your situation and even your dating experiences. They talked to me like I was a bad or dumb person, unable to make the right decisions for myself: why are you falling for such people? Don't you want to be happy? They never loved you / they used you / played you / are bad people. I looked for other threads, same messages for everyone who is asking for help. They are very critical and judgmental about you or your partners, without even knowing anything about you. They always try to drag people down in their miserable life. Asking strangers who were hurt in their relationships is definitely a bad idea. Successful people don't waste their time in such forums. Never surround yourself or listen to negative people, it will never make you achieve anything. EnotAlone users are rude and negative. They will only tell you to give up (as they probably did in their own life), that your situation is bad, had no other solutions than cutting contact and giving up, and will make insulting commentaries about you. They failed in their relationships, they don't want others to succeed where they have failed. And, last point, you CAN'T DELETE your old posts or you have to PAY for this, seriously? Paying for privacy? I didn't know this, and I am so mad at the admins for this rule. I would appreciate some anonymity and privacy in a supposed anonymous forum, especially concerning so sensitive and personal topics (relationships, breakup, abuses). Having the possibility to delete old posts on Internet is very important. It should be a right, not something to pay for. Some users found my old posts (published years ago) and use these informations against me, to shame me on my past relationships. It was rude, not helpful at all. Run away from this community!
