Despite a sale being promoted, I was offered an extra discount for subscribing to their text messages. However, when I finished my purchase, I noticed that this so-called 'extra discount' actually increased my total cost. This situation felt reminiscent of a bait-and-switch tactic, which could inadvertently lead to customers paying more than they initially estimated.
