I think my e-mail to them pretty much sums up why you should stay well clear of this company:

As I have received no payment, no response to either of my e-mails and nobody answers your telephone line, I have lodged a complaint against CashMyPhone with the Trading Standards Institute via the Citizen's Advice website.
I can understand a genuine mistake where the payment hadn't been processed. But to completely ignore your customer when they notify you of this issue twice is completely unacceptable, suspicious and devious and it appears I am not the only person who thinks so.
To quote your website About Us page:
"Above all, we care about our customers. Thats why weve made our mobile phone recycling process speedy and straightforward. We dont leave you hanging around waiting for payment long after youve sent your handsets to us... Thats our guarantee to you."
You may need to rethink this statement because if you really cared about your customers, it wouldn't take a lot of research to find that a large majority of them don't agree with it one iota.
