I ordered $200 worth of exotic meat as a Christmas gift. I was not concerned with the package arriving on time, as the $60,2nd day air shipping would put my order at my father in law's doorstep in plenty of time for an elk steak Christmas meal. 6 days later and wondering why he hadn't called to thank us for the gift yet, we called him and inquired if he'd received our gift. He had not. I knew it was not a delivery issue. He is working from home and rarely leaves his home. I called Exoticmeatmarkets.com and surprisingly they answered in spite of being 6p on a Sunday. This gave me high hopes, but those were soon dashed. The rep stated in broken English (that incredibly enough sounds EXACTLY like the 5 star reviews would have if spoken out loud) that 4 out of the 5 items I ordered were out of stock. Never mind they were still available for purchase on the website. When I said it would've been great to at least receive an email telling me so, since IT IS CHRISTMAS AND OBVIOUSLY A GIFT, she said "well, you know we couldn't because of the Covid". That sent me over the edge. I own a retail business. I have not shut down for a single day. In spite of being short staffed 90% of the time, I have done what it takes to keep my business afloat and to keep my customers happy. And this two bit, sorry excuse of a service business can't even take 10 FREAKING SECONDS OUT OF THEIR DAY TO SEND A FORM LETTER STATING THEY ARE OUT OF SEVERAL ITEMS! Or how about just putting OUT OF STOCK on your freaking POS website? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH exoticmeatmarkets.com. They obviously do not care about their customers or their reputation. And based on the other reviews that were NOT written by the same half witted mongoloid that obviously wrote all of the poorly worded, glowing 5 star reviews for this outfit, I would bet this place is a scam operated out of a Bangladeshi mental rehab facility. STEER CLEAR!
