"I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN,
Mid June I emailed CarID explaining I was going to place an order for parts and needed them by July 4th to install, explaining I would be taking time off to work on my vehicle, they said the order would arrive without any issues and everything was in stock. My order was close to $1500 by the time it was all placed, the sales person was very helpful and actually gave a discount. After sending the full amount and receiving the confirmation email Everything went to hell.
The largest most important parts never arrived on time and I was notified they would be late only AFTER the due date (Receiving a delay notice on July 8th stating the product would not ship till the 15th). Why is it that I was not contacted sooner about this delay? I thought I would ask,
After calling the company and being placed on hold for over 30 minutes (Yes I hung up without speaking to a manager because I wont stay on hold that long) I sent an email asking about this and requesting a call from a manager. I received an email stating they would contact me within 24 hours (they called 5 days later after a 3rd email and left a voice mail asking me to call them).
I could have purchased the same parts from a number of other companies, Overall I am happy with the parts, But will never deal with CarID again for any reason.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE MEASURES TAKEN TO ENSURE THIS EXACT THING DIDN'T HAPPEN. I strongly recommend not dealing with this company, unless you like being ignored or have forever to wait for your order."
