I ordered 2 sets of silverware nearly a year ago. When they arrived, several pieces were missing. I contacted the company and was sent out replacements. However, they were not the same as the pieces ordered. They were much thinner, smaller and lighter. Almost as though they were a cheap knockoff of the ones i purchased.
Again, I contacted the company and informed them of the issue. I took pictures and showed that the numbers on the back of the pieces were all different and also not the same as the ones i purchased.
I was told they were from different plants that made them. So different lots. She assured me she would send out pieces that matched mine.
Months later, still nothing. I contacted them again and was told something about her husband becoming ill the day we spoke and she forgot to send them out but now she wasn't able to find matching pieces because it had been so long. No solution was offered. I spent nearly $200 on these sets as well as two child size settings and am incredibly disappointed to still not have complete service for 16.
We will not purchase from this company again.

Hello,
I did not realize (until now) that there this pattern had been made in 2 different plants. I had open stock that the manufacturer had sent me, that they must have produced at a different plant and with all their flatware, different plants have different quality control ( they only send into the market fist quality - all seconds are destroyed but that doesn't mean that they don't catch things!). Sorry - I never check the pieces because I rarely have any problems ( and we send out about 10,000 pieces a day!)
Replacements ( from the same plant) today.

OK, so where does that leave me? I still do not have a complete set. It's unfortunate that they weren't sent out months ago when you had said they were being sent out the next day. At that point, you would have had stock and my set would have been complete.

In saying you don't have any left of 14, I'm not sure I follow the implication. How do you run out of a product?

Can you tell me what your next steps are to rectify the situation?
