My biggest mistake was not to check some reviews before buying from Pepperfry. I'm coming to know of so many bad reviews only when i decided to write a review myself.
First, their showroom has nothing to show, instead they show you on a screen... basically the very website you can also browse at home. Then they ask you to come back after finalizing the model, only to realize there are no additional benefits if they place order on your behalf... the store just wanted to show sale number. So i decided to order it myself at home, then when product came, it was badly packed, had some small piece comeoff... the delivery guys say it can be patched up by the carpenter who will come to assemble. When i asked, he said they come automatically the same day... when i called the carpenter he said he will come tomorrow... then next day he said he will come later next day... ONLY FOR ME TO REALISE YOU NEED TO CALL THE customer service number to place a assembly request! There are no information being sent on this in email or msg or even the delivery or carpenter bothered to tell the process... just making us wait. Guys... my advise would be pls check other big showrooms who deliver and assemble with a proper process and also immediate return/replacement when damage happens.
