I went to checkout and saw my shipping would be $12.99. After watching some review videos online I discovered your products appear to be high quality and there was a groupon advertised. I purchased the groupon and then discovered that my shipping price went up to $16.99. I was very disappointed. It's frighting that you would increasing your shipping costs for customers are using a promotional code in such a secret and sneaky way! Understandable if its an algorithm glitch, but if its intentional, you should at least let your customers know you will increase your shipping prices if they use a groupon.
Overall my decision was made after I saw an independent online video review that assured me your product quality was superb quality. It was an added bonus that I discovered there was a groupon available. However, based on the very disturbing fact that my shipping cost increased after I applied a groupon, I am not sure I can recommend this brand. Even if it was a glitch, it gives the horrible appearance that your groupon/discounts are disingenuous by raising other costs to compensate for providing a discount. I wonder if that's illegal. It would be nice to hear back from a representative to acknowledge if this is a deliberate act or a mistake that would be eligible for a $4.00 discount. Thank you.
