<<<UPDATE!>>>
As of August 25,2017 Wolltraum has officially cut ties with Heather Mellon and she will no longer be their distributer. They are encouraging anyone that are waiting for a refund to please contact the payment vendor that was used (i. E.: PayPal). If you need further assistance, please contact Wolltraum and they will help you. Also keep in mind that there are 2 other distributors here in the U.S. that have been receiving great reviews on how well they are taking care of customers (I personally haven't used either of them yet but do plan to). Hope things work out for the best for everyone. ~Happy Crocheting / Knitting!~
<<<EDIT 6/25/2017>>>
Yesterday I had contacted Wolltraum again and they contacted Heather who finally sent me a message early this morning that my money has been refunded thru Paypal. The matter is now closed and I will simply never place an order thru her again.
<<<ORIGINAL REVIEW>>>
When Heather Mellon became a distributer for Wolltraum here in the U.S. early last year, I ordered twice from her. Both times, no issues with my order, no issues with communications nor with shipping. In fact, I posted / bragged about her in various crochet groups on social media as well as to friends and family. This was back in April/May and June of 2016.
My, how things have changed over the course of a year. I placed an order for 2 cakes of yarn on May 31,2017, after 13-days and no message about shipping my order, I emailed her twice thru her FB page with no response even though I could see that she did in fact read them. I then emailed her via regular email by the 15th day and I finally received a response from her that it would take another 10-days for shipping due to some kind of "set back" that she is experiencing. I simply requested a refund at this point. I haven't received a response yet. Doubtful that I'll see either the yarn I ordered or my money back.
I have filed a complaint with the Connecticut Better Business Bureau. I have also filed a complaint thru PayPal and I have contacted Wolltraum themselves via email and their FB page. I received an immediate response from Wolltraum via their FB page whereas they stated that they have forwarded my message to Heather asking her to respond and that they are saddened and concerned about the complaints against her.
There are two other US distributors. One is in the same state as Heather, in Connecticut, and the other one is in Kentucky. Neither one of them are having any issues with fulfilling orders. Which makes the situation with Heather rather suspicious.
