Looking for a reasonably priced second-hand copy of a book that is expensive new.
Out of print book
An easy to use website drawing on a huge number of sellers.
To buy another copy of an out of print book that I loved so that I can give it to a friend.
To buy an interesting title at a lower price than a first hand copy would be.
To avoid amazon.
The book I wanted is overly expensive new, so i looked for a cheaper second hand one, which i found. Also, you are not Amazon!

I have found ALIBRIS to be very reliable over the many years I have been buying books through their site. I recommend them.
I go to alibris if i am looking for a second hand copy of a book. I don't want to add to Amazon's profits either!
