The problem with online auctions is you cannot see and handle the item and have to rely on the auctioneers description. Most online auctions have description and photos, some the description are clear and knowledgeable, the photos detailed but many have the barest description, sometimes None and the photographs are very poor. I deal in firearms and some auctions do not show the serial number which does not help identify older guns also be-careful and READ the terms of business, some auctions do not pack & deliver goods and you may get a third party with high priced delivery services. One reputable auction charged me so mutch for one revolver I thought Kim Kardassian was delivering it personally. Before bidding check out a few auctions and without actual bidding select what interests you and follow the auction and add the commissions and delivery and see if the price is cheaper than say Gunbroker.Com or similar auction sights.
