I intended to trade my phone in through JB HiFi. No contact or instructions from SquareTrade after purchase of my new phone until an email today informing me the 28 day trade in time had elapsed and my credit card was debited without warning.
When I sought to correct it by asking how to send the old phone to them the same day, they refused and I was informed the case was closed.
Could not recommend this company's practices.
Tip for consumers:
More communication including a warning of a specific time by which the transaction should be completed and an alert or two would be reasonable.
Flexibility in handling such issues would show a sense of humanity.
Products used:
Did not use the phone. Will have to attempt to sell some other way.
