This company is heartless and they are happy to take advantage and exploit the poor, much like any dictator. My son made less then $7K last year and because he is living in poverty he qualifies for the Earned Income Credit. TaxSlayer brags about being free but then wants to charge $18 for filling our form 8962 that qualifies my son for this credit. So, if you are poor and living in poverty and are provided the opportunity to receive assistance from the government via the EIC, TaxSlayer still wants to gut you for what can be up to 2 hours of salary because they assisted with a simply form. This may not be illegal but it certainly is an example of a company that is taking advantage of the disadvantaged. Their CEO, Brian Rhodes, should be ashamed of himself for allowing his company to exploit the poor, but then again maybe it is all this gouging that allows them to pay for all of its sports sponsorships, such as the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida, NASCAR and three PGA Tour golfers.

Tip for consumers:
This company is only cares about their bottom line and does not care that they choose to exploit the poor as long as it produces their financial gain.

Products used:
None because this company was attempting to take advantage and exploit someone living in poverty.
