They offered 80% of home value and you pay fees their 20% is supposed to be used to do any repairs to sell. We were closing on a Friday and the company expects you to be out the home by midnight the day before closing. Inspection occurred on a Wednesday the week before closing and they waited an entire week (literally 36 hours before our move out time) to contact us and try to reduce the price by $30K because of the repairs. The repairs was much less than 30K but they were trying to back us in the corner. In short, they wanted us to pay for the repairs (leaving us less than 80% of the value) while they get the full 20% of the home value. We already reserved a truck, the house was packed, I scheduled service cut off, and we were ready to rock and roll. The business uses a transaction manager (middle man/woman) so we told her absolutely not when she called yesterday to try to take another 30k off and she still hasn't got back with us and we are supposed to be out by midnight tonight and close tomorrow. Sharks who intentionally cause harm and stress and not doing the right thing so please save yourself the hassle.
