Barnstaple to Exeter train
WhT a fabulous improvement. Gone are what can only be referred to are the cattle trucks and in their place are lovely modern carriages. The old bone rattling carriages have been replaced with carriages with shock absorbers. There is a spacious toilet cubicle, there is table seating with plugs for chargers. I do believe there was an extra carriage or two. Huge all round improvement

The queue to get in was right out the door but was moving quickly. I recommend booking ahead if you can. We were a group of 7and had booked.
Despite being full to rammed, there was no sense of chaos, everyone was quietly doing what they had to do. Food service was quick and efficient and all correct, which makes a pleasant change. Food was fresh and delicious. The supergrain salad with avo dressing goes so well with the chicken. Very well priced. Definitely worth a visit
