Safeway now puts signs out showing the special price in big letters, and then put "digital coupon only" in tiny letters. This seems purposely deceptive and sucks! Tired of buying something because of good price and then getting home and finding out I paid twice as much. Safeway, you just lost a long time customer.
Tip for consumers:
You need to read the small print because now this store is trying to mislead their customers. Very sleazy business practice!

Grapes advertised as $1.49 pound that were $2.99 a pound.
