I have banked with BoA for 21+ years. I have my business account with them as well. Over the last 5+ years the DECLINE in assisting their own customers has increased by 150%
My car was towed due to a hit and run to a repair shop. I was 36+ miles away from home and my business account was transitioning 2 large deposits that totaled well over $20,000.
At the car rental place my debit card was declined for a $189.00 deposit. Because my account at that moment had only $99.00 BOA would not support the difference, leaving me without any other choice then to go back to the repair shop and drive the 36+ miles home until the next morning! Unbelievable! The first opportunity I get, I will be moving my accounts to a credit union - one of the few, last banking service-friendly
