DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BUBS AND GRUBS!

I'd give this store zero stars if I could. The worst store I have ever dealt with.

I placed an order beginning of July on 2x car seats with express shipping (only live an hour away) ETA mid July, I call up mid July to see how my seats are travelling to be told it's now ETA end of July. I made it clear baby is due in the next few weeks and will need the car seats ASAP or a refund so I can purchase elsewhere. Bubs and grubs said they'll keep 20% of any refund so they want to keep $250 of my own money on a product they haven't even received in store yet. Greedy!
They mentioned if i pay more money I can get different type of car seats that'll come much sooner ETA mid August as the origional purchase has now been pushed back to September. I paid them the extra as I am desperate for the car seats as I've already given birth and couldn't leave the house. Couldn't take my newborn to Dr apts, Couldn't take my eldest to school, Couldn't leave the house! Not once were they willing to help out knowing my situation. It's mid August and I'm still waiting for these car seats! I find out the company of the car seats have some in stock now and I could receive them the very next day. I informed bubs and grubs and they told me it wasn't true. I had emails to back that information which I was happy to share. The car seat company and bubs and grubs were selling the seats at the same price however the other company was including freebies (mirror & seat liner) I asked if bubs and grubs can also do the same for the stuff around which they replied no (no suprise). I finally get told my car seats have arrived and I'll receive them the next day. It took 5 business days for my car seats to arrive (I live an hour away from bubs and grubs and it took 5 days for express delivery). The delivery company are happy to refund me for the extra I paid for express postage as it was no longer express but I needed to deal with bubs and grubs who will refund me then they'd need to take it up with the delivery company... Well bubs and grubs don't want anything to do with it, Even though they are entitled to refund me for the express postage I paid!

Greedy, Rude, Selfish company. Stay away!

Nonesense, you were made fully aware you were pre-ordering and the ETA was not guaranteed - every baby store was in the same boat and you have already received the goods. You were also offered a full store credit or exchange for another colour available sooner. You tried everything you could to blackmail us for a financial gain which was all you were interested in - and your freight was actually upgraded for free. We don't respond to threats or blackmail, that is a legal matter. We wish you the very best for you and your family.
