I just wanted to say my experience with Budget Home Kits was overall very pleasant. There was a learning curve never having built a home before but they were patient and helpful all along the way. Friends and family thought we were crazy at first but were soon won over. There was a small issue with a missing part but it was identified and quickly shipped to us. We love the straight walls and confidence in the steel structure. Fun to put together sort of like a big steel Lego set. All parts fit and amazingly well-engineered. A lot of compliments. Go for it!
Tip for consumers:
We would recommend taking advantage of their floorplan changes. Get it like you want it. They reworked our plan at least three times at no extra charge. Also, we added a rear porch. They offer a nine-foot option and it's the way to go.
