I really like Spokeo, and it has served me well.
However, when I logged in yesterday, I was asked to update my CC info. When I did I was immediately charged $177, instead of the $70.80 annual fee I had been paying, with no prior notice. Even when I logged in the screen showed that the fee was $70.80, but that the 2022 fee would be $177. I then received a message from my credit card statement saying that there was a $177 charge from Spokeo. The 'pending' charge still shows on my CC statement today, even though I called Spokeo and had them cancel the paid subscription IMMEDIATELY.
