I flew on AA flight 3270 from Santa Fe to DFW on August 17. I booked a ride with Uber before I left Santa Fe. After I retrieved my baggage, I went to the designated area for pick up. There was no ride there and I had received no communication about the driver and the car like they usually do. I. Tried to book another ride but when I input the flight number, the response said they couldn't find this flight number so I took a taxi instead When I got home I find that I have been charged for two rides by Uber when I didn't take any. Later that evening I find messages from the driver on the app trying to facilitate the pick up. He alleged my phone was off while I was on the app trying to find the ride. Later that night I was finally able to send a response outlining what happened. The next day I find that they refunded about $23.00 of the $160.00 in charges for services that were never received. I had to give them my credit card before I could book a ride, trusting they wouldn't abuse it. In addition to charging for services that were never rendered, they have no way for a customer to communicate with them on their app when there is a problem. I will now have to file a protest with the credit card bank to recover the balance of the charges they ran through. Beware of using Uber.
